Wander Away: Subic PhotoSet (part 2)

These are pretty boring pictures, but they were fun. :)

Wander Away: Subic PhotoSet (part 1)

On my mom's birthday (Dec 26.. I know, I know this is overdue) we went to Subic!

I'm just gonna basically spam photos of the trip since they probably just speak for themselves.

But can I just say I feel so sad for these tigers? :(

Lovely Presents!

I absolutely love getting mail from my dear friends. Unfortunate as it is that they live quite far, but I really do love receiving mail!

I asked Lois and Clarissa for these shower gels. No particular reason. I just wanted shower gels. Heh.

Elle and Ina gave me this adorable package packed with goodies!! Inside that blue container is a stack of bracelets I wear almost everyday now. :>

They gave me a card too. And don't worry girls, there's no need to wrap Mr. Lachowski because he came of his own accord soon after you gave me your present :D And please note, that it was hand written.

Trish and Miles' presents were such a treat!!! I absolutely love the vests Miles sent over. And Trish sent me a book, Betwixt! (And you know how I love my books AHHH!)

Euncii sent me this adorable case and a mini Dr. Marten key chain!! Hehehehehe so cute <3

BTW my loves, I'm still collecting treasures for my special bundle of goodies for you guys. But, worry you not, I'm close to completing my hunt!

My Day with Chrissy!

My friend Christina (Clarissa and Lois' Sister, for those who don't know) flew in from Bacolod the other day and we just HAD to hang out!! I haven't seen her in months and I missed her like crayzehhh!

We met up at my school and we walked around Serendra for a while, looking around for a place to eat. We ended up eating at Figaro for lunch. Lol

After lunch, we had dessert at Cupcakes by Sonja.

Mandatory cupcake spam.

Chrissy and I got red velvets.

I had to taste their red velvets and see what all the fuss is about.

I actually didn't like it that much... The outer cupcake was sort of hard, and I was missing the kiss of chocolate that it's supposed to have. The frosting was nice though

I can now honestly say that my red velvets are better than Sonja's. Yup. I said it.

After cupcakes, we headed straight to Fully booked, and Christina bought me Firelight!!! <3 soo nice of her! We walked around aimlessly inside Fully Booked (Because it's possible to do so.) until my parents picked me up.

We were actually supposed to meet up with Miles and Trish, but I had to go home early because it was a Friday and the holidays are making it unbelievably hard to get through traffic!

Chrissy met up with them for dinner though!! I missed it :(( I miss those girls so bad it hurtsssss :(

Oh well, there's always next time!

Check out Miles' blog post about her night with Chrissy here!

I had a blast with Chrissy even if they were only for a few hours :) I'm so happy I met up with her!!

We visited the opening of Dr. Martens at the fort Strip after class and I was slightly disappointed yet I was sort of expecting it too.

Random pic of my friend Ans' hair and someone's gameboy during class.  Heh

After class my friend Kia and I headed to Serendra. Only to walk around and find out that we were not in the right place. Heh. oops. Then I called Lois to text me the deets cause I sort of forgot. Lol.

Anywhoo!! When we got our facts straight, we skipped off to the Fort Strip and was surprised to find this:

Surprised it was so small, and amazed at how cool the place is. The actual store is in a metal container. We assume they're only testing out the waters at first and maybe expand in the coming months.

I love the fake brick wall.

Unfortunately all of their designs are the basic Maroon, Black, Brown, and White. The craziest color there  was their violet suede collection.

The woman in the store said they're expecting shipment almost every two weeks for new designs. Hopefully the floral ones!! I'm definitely coming back to check out the new designs.

Later that night...

We were supposed to go to my Uncle's for dinner but the traffic at Edsa was INSANE!! I'm not even kidding. We were in a jam for 2 hours. So we decided to just eat at Omakase for dinner! YAY SUSHI!

Their sushi is sublime. There are only two places where I eat sushi, and its at Omakase and Red kimono. Not being picky, but really, look at this beaut:

I almost always never like sushi from any other place.

Fun day.
