Paper Samurai

My friend Trish asked me to do a photoshoot showcasing the dress that she specially made out of Japanese paper. Our pretty model for the shoot was Jan (Trish's TALL AND LONG HAIRED FRIEND, I felt so small next to her) was absolutely a doll to work with. Literally. She looks like those Japanese Dolls. Vicky was there too to help us out and I finally got to meet him!

We did a lot of hair flippage thanks to Vicky!

That dress is super amazing.

The cars slowed down, and people stared at us while doing this. Jan was such a good sport! She didn't mind so much!

Super happy about this shoot. I haven't done one like this before and i'm glad I did it with friends.

P.S. Thanks Rasel for letting me borrow your lens. I really miss my 50mm :(

By the end of the shoot, we were all tired and hungry so we went back to my house and just chilled for a bit.

Earlier, I baked red velvets for an order, and I baked a little extra for us to munch on. VICKY ATE MOST OF THEM. LOL. They all liked it!! I'm so happy!!

Wander Away: Bicol Day 2!

On our second day in Bicol, we went to a conference in Tabaco and then visited the Mayon volcano and went to the rest house there, and it had a planetarium there too. Sucks that it wasn't open! I was so ready to go see stars and stuff. But no. The universe didn't intend it to be so.

At night we went to embarcador mall again to have our last dinner in Bicol. I love, love, love that mall. Srs.

The Grand Ball

February 25 was an epicly awesome night. Everyone was dressed to impress. And boy was I impressed! The gowns were unbelievable, and its nice seeing all the boys looking spiffy. There's not much to tell, just that its really a memorable event~

Nougat

Everyone meet Nougat.

He's my new Panasonic Lumix GF1. What I love about Nougat is that I can attatch my Minolta lenses on him. We bought him in Mongkok. We weren't supposed to, but when my dad found out that we could use our Minolta lenses that we have here, he bought it cause... DUDE. 5 LENSES. We don't want that to go to waste now do we?

Here are a few shots, now, the quality is kind of stifled because the lenses are old. I'm planning to get the pancake lens too just so we can have a point and shoot lens, since I have to manually focus the older minolta lenses. (Even the aperture has to be manually operated!!)

Ahh! I'm so excited about it! Its just nice that I can use my old lenses on him. :)

That's one thing to cross off my list! :)

For the shocker: I've seen some people with this camera and they bought it for 20-40k. My dad and I bought it for 15k, (body only) + lens converter and a 16 gig  memory card. Not too shabby eh?


Thank you Lord! :) The blessings that are coming in are just amazing, all I can do is be Thankful, so ... Thank you Lord. You are amazing.
