Wander Away: Going Home 2011

And so, came the time that I had to part with my favoured country. *been watching too much medieval shows* I woke up early, had some of those heavenly pancakes, (Happy meal of course) And journeyed to Mong Kok for some last minute technology shopping just incase we missed anything. Another day to break into my docs. But my feet were indefinitely crying deeply within their soles. (See what I did there? I crack myself up. Haha.) Then, we hurried off towards the hotel and checked out, got on a rented van, and scurried to the airport.

Wander Away: Second Day in Hong Kong 2011

On the second day we literally just walked around. We were supposed to go to Disneyland on that day but it rained in the morning and we assumed that it would rain the whole day when it didn't. Such a disappointment! Oh well. But I did do some serious breaking in damage on my Docs. It was pretty productive if I do say so myself.

Wander Away: Hong Kong

My dad was planning one of his trips to Hong Kong for his technology shopping, and it happened to collide with my brithday. So he let me tag along with him! *happy dance* Hong Kong is (as of now) my favourite country in the entire world. I literally want to live there. I love the people, the energy, the transportation, the system, and the life. Well, I am a city girl.

Wander Away: HK post day 2!

Second day was chillier than the first day. It was really cold, that the hotel had to lower our aircondition, that even if we turn it up to the coldest temp its still feels like a neutral cold inside the room. Ha!

We ate breakfast, and then returned to the hotel to rest, and then we went to Mongkok to go for a bit of electronic shopping!

The view outside our hotel room.

Breakfast! Buttered bread with condensed milk. Omnomnom.~

And for dessert we ate Mint M&M's!! I didn't know it existed! And now i'm inlove.

Tumblrrrrrrr~ what little moments I had with you when I was in Hong Kong

Look what I saw there!

I ate cream puffs! Mmmmmmmmmm <3

Aah! Ate Ben & Jerry's for the first time at the airport!! ITS AWESOME!! I got Mint Chocolate Chunk, and boy were they Chunky. The pieces of chocolate were massive! Unlike here in the Philippines when they say "chunk" it looks like "chip" Lol.

And finally, my last shot of Hong Kong:

You can see me taking the photo ~ hoho

I really had a Blast but it was all too short! I miss Hong Kong already. I'm seriously considering going to school there if I get into one. I'd love to live there for a short while just to get the feel of living there.

Lol I just remembered this thing my dad's friend told me about what women in Hong Kong look for in men. The 4 C's. Cash, Car, Credit card, and a Condo. While here in the Philippines, what some women look for are the 4 M's. Mayaman, Matanda, Madaling Mamatay. LOL I laughed so much when she said that.

Stay tuned for my next post as I show you what I crossed off my Christmas Wish/Prayer List. If you're too curious to wait, see what I crossed out on my list Here.

For my paper crane quest, I left A LOT everywhere, but I couldn't take photos since we were walking in a fast pace.

But here's a nice Paper Crane Quest Story: While my dad was buying an iPad for my aunt, I was just standing outside the booth/store looking at myself on the monitor where there was a webcam and you can see yourself. Later I realized that the dude selling the iPad was stealing stares from me. And I'm like.. Okay.. He's not bad looking, he's not super hot either.  I thought it was adorable. I caught him staring a couple of times and he kept fiddling with something behind the table where the monitor is, and ever so slightly looks up to where I am. I started feeling uncomfortable so I walked around. And I started folding a paper crane. Weirdly enough, he started folding a piece of paper too. LOL I inspired him to fold paper? I guess? But he was just playing around.. Haha. Anyway, before we walked away from the store, I left him a paper crane on the table. I don't know if he saw it but yeah. That was fun.

DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS!!!

Happy Friday!~

Wander Away: HK post day 1!

We arrived at the airport at about 5:00 am and checked in early so we could just chillax and eat breakfast. After breakfast, we waited at the terminal for our plane. (P.S. Don't expect any tourist photos since this isn't a fun-holiday trip. Its a business trip so I opted to shoot street photography. Plus no one was free to take shots of me :C oh well. Still, enjoy the photos!)

In a few minutes we boarded the plane and headed off to Hong Kong!

Eversince I heard the song Rocketeer by The Far East Movement and I promised myself that I'd listen to it when I'm in flight. And so I did!... 5 times!

After the relatively short airplane ride, we hopped onto the train to Kowloon Station.

At the station, I saw this really big Pocky box O_O I wonder if the sticks are as big as the box!

When we got off the train, we hopped onto a bus to Tsim Sha Tsui.

Fun fact: They sell their plastic bags in Hong Kong for 50cents in convenience stores!

We arrived at our hotel and we left our HOUMUNGOUS bags there waited for some friends of my dad's, so we could eat lunch with them.

After lunch, we headed off to some place with tons of electronics and my dad bought a lot of wires and stuff. I don't really remember. When they finished buying stuff, we separated with my dad's friends and went to the soul purpose of this trip. To get equipment. So we rode a taxi to the place and picked up the stuff, then rode a van back to the hotel which was apparently cheaper than the taxi.

This photo creeps me out. :| It was this old old old building beside the building that we were at.

These guys were talking on the phone at the same time, you'd think they were talking to each other. lol

We got back to the hotel just in time for check-in. The room was fairly big for 2 people. It had all the hotel room usuals. T.V., fridge, closet, table... etc. We rested for a couple of minutes, retouched my make up and such... Then went shoe shopping!

Shoe shopping was a blast! I got a pair of Brown boots and some really pretty wedges! After shoe shopping, we ate at this Vietnamese Restaurant right next to our hotel.

Complimentary beer the lady gave to my dad. She didn't give free beer to the other costumers which lead me to one conclusion: She had the hots for my dad. Ha!

I drank it.
LOL. NO. As if!

Their food was pricey but really good!

Sorry for this late post! The internet died last night *mourns* but I guess he had vampire blood in him and brought him back to life now to live forever in this world. Cool.

 On the airplane.

on the train.

On the bus

At the hotel~

I wanted to leave a LOT more but I'm so freakin scared of getting arrested for artistic littering. :|

I hope it's not too late to say:
